Carolyn Christine Whitehead

Carolyn Christine (Chambers) Whitehead went to her heavenly home on October 30, 2020 at the age of 82. She was a longtime faithful attender of South Knoxville Church of God and will always be remembered for her endless love and mothering of everyone. Christine was a floral designer and she brought joy to so many.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence Whitehead; her mother, Julia Lowery; daughter, Carolyn Bryant; son, Thomas Whitehead. Christine is survived and will be deeply missed by her children, Lynn Mincey and husband Jake, Tim Whitehead, Dianne Sutton, sons-in-law Larry Bryant and Luther Perry; grandchildren, Hunter Whitehead, Alisha (Joey) Breeden, Alaura (Matt) Poe, Sarah (Josh) Miller, Chris (Taryn) Bryant, Allen (Jenni) Bryant, Kathryn Bryant, Amanda Reinhardt, Thomas Whitehead, Nicole Whitehead, Ashley Whitehead, Nathan Ford, Ashley (Mike) Barry, Hope Ford, Nicole Sutton, James Ford, Cameron Cooper, Katie Cooper; 23 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Rhoda Smith and Becky Summer; and other extended family and friends.

The family will Receive Friends on Monday, November 2, 2020 from 5:00-7:00pm at Berry Highland South Funeral Home, 9010 E Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920. The Funeral Service will begin at 7:00pm, with Pastor Becky Milligan officiating. We will meet at Berry Highland South Cemetery at 11:00am on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 for the Graveside Service.
