Carolyn Ann Goode Weatherly

Carolyn Ann Weatherly, age 54, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 9, 2015 at UT Medical Center. She was an active member of Green Meadow Church of God where she taught Children’s Sunday School and was willing to serve in any capacity where she was needed. Carol was involved in various ministries throughout East Tennessee. She would go out of her way to help anyone in need and share the gospel with them. She was a loving and caring mother to her son, John Michael and loved her family and church family unconditionally. She helped take care of her Dad, George Goode and was a caregiver for Carolyn Bailey for almost 24 years. She will be dearly missed by all her knew her and will be remembered for her devotion to her Lord and Savior. Carol is survived by her son, John Michael Weatherly; father, George Goode; mother, Elsie Humphrey; Spiritual mother, Sharon McKeehan; sisters, Brenda and Debra; and brothers, George and Tommy Goode. She will also be missed by her beloved brothers and sister in Christ. Family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Green Meadow Church of God, 610 W. Hunt Road, Alcoa 37701 with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Rev. Ronnie Reagan officiating.
