Carolyn F. Gibson

She is preceded in death by her husband, Garland W. Gibson; parents, Clarence and Avis Cox; sister, Anita Valentine; and brothers, Cecil, Robert and Alvin Cox.

Nanny Faye is survived by her sons, Curtis Gibson (Mary), Brian Gibson (Hattie) and Damian Gibson; grandsons, Curtis Gibson, Jr (Nikki) and Joseph Gibson (Krystal); granddaughters, Brittany Gonzalez (Carlos), Rachael Gibson, Tanesy Piggott, Katie Gibson and Audrey Lowe (Peyton); and many great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary-Lou Newcomb, Peggy Pettiford and Linda McCoy; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919 with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. Family and friends will meet in Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, October 21, 2023 for a 3:00 PM graveside service.
