

Carolyn attended Powell High School, where she played basketball. She worked at Standard Knitting Mill before marrying William "Leonard" Aycock and having two sons, Jason and Stacy. Carolyn was a member at Black Oak Heights Baptist Church for over 60 years. She thoroughly enjoyed working with The Bus Ministry and traveling with the church seniors in "The Happy Travelers". Carolyn loved family, friends, and beautiful flowers. She was a great seamstress, cake decorator and loved collecting Beanie Babies.
Carolyn is preceded by her parents, Tom and Virgie Hollingsworth; by her husband of 47 years, Leonard Aycock; brother, Jeff Hollingsworth. She is survived by her sons, Jason Aycock (Lois) and Stacy Aycock (Kristen); granddaughters, Courtney, Emily, Abbey, and Rachel Aycock; step granddaughters, Alicia and Jennifer; step great grandchildren, Kinsley and Brayden; sister, Rosalie Nokes; nephew, Wesley Nokes.
The family will receive friends on November 1, 2024 at 5pm at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7pm. Graveside services will be held November 2, 2024 at 1pm at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Alcoa.
