Carol David Loveday Sr.

Carol David Loveday Sr., age 89, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022. He enjoyed spending his time farming, woodworking, fishing, hunting, traveling, and spending time with his family and loving dog, Tara. He served in the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne Paratroopers, for 4 years.

He is preceded in death by mother of his daughter, Martha Saint; mother of his son, Barbara Loveday; mother and father, George and Tene Loveday; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers.

He leaves behind his children, Carolyn Loveday, David Loveday; other children; loving companion of 25 years, Sandra Hudson; adopted family, Leesa Pike, Maressa Pike, Nicholas Stanifer; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter; brother, Sam Loveday (Albuquerque, New Mexico); special sister-in-law, Charlotte Loveday; and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 PM. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 PM for a 1:00 PM graveside service Monday, November 7, 2022 at Woodlawn Cemetery.
