Carol-Anne Kailie Burdette, age 27, of Seymour, Tennessee passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 7, 2021. She was a 2012 graduate of Seymour High School. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and being on the lake fishing, swimming, boating and jet-skiing. Carol-Anne had a love for animals and especially her dog, Bo and her greatest love was spending time with her family. The most precious thing to her was being Bentlee's Mommy.
Carol-Anne was preceded in death by her first cousin, Sean Burdette.
She is survived by her son, Bentlee Ray Allen Burdette; father, Larry Burdette; mother, Shellie Kear Burdette; sisters, Lindsey Logan and Jaclyn Suzanne Burdette; grandparents, Bill and Carol Kear "Poppy and Mimi"; aunts, Lori Clifton (Doug), Debra Patterson "Dee-Dee"; uncles, Jesse Burdette (Sheila), Butch Burdette, Garry Burdette (Susan); cousins, Layne, Allie, Abbie Clifton, Trey and Travis Burdette, Cindy Schrock, Seth and Lauren Burdette. She also leaves behind a host of other family members and friends who loved her dearly.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 12, 2021 in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a service to follow officiated by Rev. Mark Williams. Soloist will be Jesse Burdette. The Funeral Service will be streamed live on the Berry Funeral Home Facebook page.
Family and friends will meet Friday, August 13, 2021 at Atchley's Seymour Memory Garden, 122 Peacock Court, Seymour for an 11:00am Interment Service. Pallbearers will be Garry and Butch Burdette, Layne Clifton, David Kear, Garrett and Riley McCarty, Allen and AJ Mink, Denton Scalf and Shey Lambert.
