Carl Michael “Mike” Corum, age 67 of Knoxville, went home to our Lord on May 5, 2024. He was of the Baptist faith. Mike served our country and was a Veteran. He started Corum Well Drilling in 1993. He also liked to pick a guitar and sing but loved History and was the best storyteller.
Mike is preceded in death by parents, Carl Samuel (Boots) Corum and Nellie (Corum) Verrinder; sister, Kathy (Smith) Crotwell and brother, Greg Corum, Sr.
Mike is survived by loving and devoted son, Dustin (Stacey) Corum; grandchildren, Karlie, Keelie and Kash Corum; stepchildren, Angie Underwood, Terry and Rodney King; brothers, H.E. Corum, Chris Corum; sister, Cindy (John) Berry; sister-in-law, Leah Corum; nephews, Greg (Candace) Corum, Mike (Kelly) Smith, Casey (Heather) Corum, Jason Day, Brent Berry; nieces, Chasity (Josh) McCormick and Charity Paris; special friend, Jerry Riddley and loving friend, Ann Corum.

Family will receive friends at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 pm with a service to follow at 7:00 pm, Rev. Stanley Carpenter and Rev. Matthew Leonard officiating. Family and friends will meet at McCarty-Evergreen at 1:00 pm and proceed to Thorngrove Cemetery on Thursday, May 9, 2024 for a 2:00 pm graveside service with military honors.
