Buford Carl Loveday

Buford Carl Loveday, age 80, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at his home. Buford, was retired from White Store Warehouse after over 20 years of service; he was a member of Old time Gospel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by wife, Betty Loveday; brothers, Doc, Clayton and Frank Loveday; children Debra Pitner, Steve Loveday, Pamela Wilson, Kenny Buckner and Ricky Loveday; parents, Thomas and Edna Loveday. He is survived by beloved companion of over 14 years, Ruth Surrette; daughter, Chyrl Lowe and husband Roy; grandkids, Ricky and Brittany Loveday; Lacie, Brandon, Elizabeth and Brittany Jones; great grandkids, Savanna Clapp and Cayden Arp; brother, T.L. Loveday; sisters, Faye Ossenbeck, Virgie Welch and Reba Peer. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Berry Highland South on Simpson Rd., the funeral will immediately follow in the chapel at 7:00 pm, with Pastor, Don Cooper officiating.
