Brenda attended Young High School (‘65) and the University of Tennessee. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and started attending when she was 6 weeks old. She still lived on the family’s original land. Brenda worked in real estate for many years. After she retired, she moved into teaching pre-school, which was her true calling. Family was so important to her and she was working on her family’s history with her cousin, Jeff Berry. She always said that you should live your life so you wouldn’t need any to preach at your funeral.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 22, 2022 between the hours of 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville. A graveside celebration will take place at 1:00 pm Friday, September 23, 2022 at Mt. Olive Cemetery with friends and family sharing memories.
