Brenda J Kirby age 78 of Knoxville passed away Sunday June 25, 2023. She spent 14 years at the Riverwood Christian Community group home. Brenda worked at the Olive Garden Restaurant for 6 years and made friends where ever she went. She was preceded in death by her parents, Baxter and Fannie Kirby; sister, Wanda Willard; sister-in-law, Liz Kirby. Brenda is survived by brother, Dr. Ken Kirby and his late wife were her primary caregiver and meant the world to Brenda; special nephew, Kip Kirby; several loving nieces and nephews also survive; special friend Ann Felknor. Many other special friends in Brenda's life that are too numerous to name. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 11-1 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home 3704 Chapman Hwy. Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. family and friends will meet at Sherwood Memorial Gardens June 28, 2023 following funeral service for a 3:00 p.m. interment.
