Bonnie Sue Lewis Woodrick, 80, of Knoxville, formerly of Pachuta, Mississippi, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 28, 2018. Bonnie attended Mississippi Southern College. She loved traveling, history, reading, and family. Extensive travel included all western European and Scandinavian countries, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, China, Japan, Egypt, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Mexico and Canada. Bonnie had a special way of making everyone feel comfortable. She was a master at and truly enjoyed hosting friends, family, Bill’s students, neighbors, and special occasions in her home. For a period of time, Bonnie ran a catering service and along with her sister opened and operated Bo-Jo’s Children’s Store in Farragut. She was preceded by parents, Brooks Avery Lewis Sr. and Frankie Mae Campbell; brother, Brooks "Avery "Lewis Jr.; sister, Mary "Joan" Lewis Wells. Bonnie is survived by husband of nearly 60 years, Bill Woodrick; 2 sons Ed (Amy) and Jack (Shelly). Special niece and traveling companion, Dewanna Glover; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 5:30 pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, and a service will follow at 5:30pm.
