Bobby Joe Hair "Bob", age 81, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021. Bob was a member of the South Knoxville Masonic Lodge # 769. He was the founder of Hair's Pump Service which opened in 1976. Bob loved the outdoors and fishing where he was considered the "The Crappie Professor". He was a very dedicated drill lieutenant of the Kerbela Motorcycle Unit since 1982. Bob was a dedicated family man and was loved by many. He was everybody's good friend.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clay C. and Lucille Hair.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Peggy Hair; sons, Danny Hair (Ann), Sterling Hair (Tabatha), Noah Russell (Joy), Robert Leatherwood (Carol); daughters, Leah Taylor (Kenneth), Peggy Lee True (Randy); grandson, Wesley "Pig" Murrell (Jana); 17 grandkids and 27 great-grandchildren; sister, Bridgett Patterson and his dog and loving companion, PJ.
Family will receive friends, Sunday, July 18, 2021 in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Masonic service to follow at 7:00 PM. Family and friends will meet Monday, July 19, 2021 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee, for an 1:00 PM graveside service. Noah Russell officiating.
