Bobby Delmar Green

Bobby Delmar Green, age 78 passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024 with his loving daughters by his bedside. Bobby served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam war and Middle East conflicts. He received numerous awards for his service and bravery, after a lifetime of service to his country he was encouraged to retire even though he was not ready and would have started all over. He served the city of Sevierville in many positions until his retirement. In his earlier years he and his wife enjoyed his Goldwing and traveling across the country. In his latter years he enjoyed sitting on the porch with his wife Christina, talking with the neighbors and enjoying the birds. One thing is certain, the world has gotten a little less bright since Bobby left us.

When Bobby crossed over into Eternity he had waiting for him with open arms his parents, George and Daisy Green; wife, Christina "Tinker" Amburn Green; and numerous brothers, sisters.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters, Kimberly McNeil, Anita Gideon; son, Russell McNeil; grandchildren, Joshua Helton, Nathan Helton, Keith McNeil; great-grandchildren, Jasper Helton, Layla McNeil, Kendal McNeil; brother-in-law, Rodney (Lou) Amburn, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
