Bill S. McMillan, age 74, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021. He was of the Baptist faith. He proudly served our country as an Army Staff Sergeant E6 Combat Medic attached to the Dust Off Division. Bill was a Range Safety Officer at Rifle Range location, an avid bowler and fisherman, loved Nascar Races, playing pool with his grandsons and telling some "Tall Stories", some true, some not. He loved God, his family and country. He made many life-long friends who made a big impact in his life, James Crewe, Bobby Bradley, John Willis, Harry Carter and many more.
He is preceded in death by parents, Archie McMillan and Wilma Hines McMillan.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Donna; son, Mark McMillan (Laura), daughters, Christine McMillian Ellison, Lisa Bailey; brother, Archie McMillan; grandchildren, Brandon Roberts (Anna), Michael Ellison (Emily), Heather Honey (Spencer), Timothy Ellison (Madison), Sam Luttrell and Kennedy Bailey; great grandchildren, Sammi, Emma, Lucy, Elly, Matthew, Charlotte, Betty, Josephina, Eli, Maverick, and Jameson; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Amanda, April, Ms. Pat, Pastor Dexter and Connie Mitchell for their special care and compassion, along with TN Care Specialist of Powell and Radiation Oncology Tennova West.
Family and friends will meet Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, for a 2:00pm Committal Service with full military honors being provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honors Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may me made in memory of Bill to Honor Air Knoxville, P.O. Box 12990, Knoxville, TN 37912.
