Beulah Mae Scarlett Morgan, 85, of Knoxville, won her crown on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Beulah was a member of Riverdale Baptist Church and did community missions work for visiting shut-ins and widows. She was a CNA and an encourager, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by parents, Emert and Willie (Henderson) Scarlett; step-mother, Sydney Scarlett; infant brother; brother, Emert Scarlett Jr; sisters, Grace Seals, Ruby Stiles and Carolyn Cate. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Bernard Traynor; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, James Wesley and Charolett Morgan and John David and Mary Whaley Morgan; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren. Sisters, Ruth (Duke) Lopez, Inez Fleenor, Brenda (Charles) Osborne, Christine (Ikie) Shepard; brother, George (Sherry) Scarlett and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, May 28, 2018 at Riverdale Baptist Church on Thorngrove Pike from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm with service to follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Tom Miller and Major Douglas Hess, Chaplin USAF, officiating. Interment will follow in Deep Springs Cemetery.
