Betty Joan Nichols

Betty Joan Nichols, age 90, of Knoxville, Tennessee has gone to heaven on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 to be with her Lord and Savior. Betty was a charter member of Christ United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Nichols Jr.; son, William R. Nichols III; mother, Clara West and brother, Gene West.

Betty is survived by daughters, Carol Kissinger (Dennis), Kathy Johnson (Stanley), Angela Cole (Dewayne); daughter-in-law, Vickie Nichols; grandchildren, Lisa Cawley (Mark), Jonathan Nichols (Amy), Adam Johnson, Kimberly Grubb (Ryan), Kristin Gerken (Dennis); great grandchildren, Dani Raby (Cody), Sara Cawley, Brock Nichols, Brooke Nichols, Nevaeh Gerken, Owen Grubb, Aubree Grubb; great great grandchild, Paige Baseley; sister, Doris Mikels; sister-in-law, Marie West as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, October 20, 2023 at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home from 5:00pm - 7:00pm with funeral services immediately following at 7:00pm with Rev. Mark Kilbourne and Rev. Bruce Marston officiating. Graveside service and interment will be Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Greenwood Cemetery.
