Betty Blazier

Betty McClure Blazier, age 84, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 14, 2023. Betty was born in Sevier County, married and re-located to the Kimberlin Heights Community in Knox County and later returned to Sevier County where she lived in assisted living facilities.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Melfy McClure; husband Ralph Blazier; son Charles Blazier; brother Fred McClure; brother-in-law Glenn Teaster and sister-in-law Johnnie Faye McClure.

She is survived by brothers John McClure and Bill (Barbara) McClure; sister Earlene Teaster; sister-in-law Jean McClure; several nieces and nephews; a special nephew Joe Keeble and special care taker and adopted daughter Ashley Keen.

The family would like to thank all the care givers at Dominion Senior Living, Mountain Brook Assisted Living and UT Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Betty's name to the American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Association of Tennessee.

The family welcomes friends for a Visitation from 1pm-3pm at Berry Highland South on Sunday, September 17, 2023, with a Funeral Service to follow at 3pm.
