Bertha Sue Roback, age 79, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with her Lord, her husband, and loved ones, Wednesday, August 24, 2022. Bertha was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church and a Knox County teacher for 40 years. Bertha was a member of Eastern Star at Bright Hope Lodge.
She was preceded in death by parents, Sam and Sylvia Walker; husband, Ramzy Roback; daughter-in-law, Cindy Roback; and sister, Shirley Householder.
Bertha is survived by son, Todd Roback; daughter, Tina Roback; granddaughter, Rachel Roback; brother, George W. Walker (Beth); sister, Mary Lou Haynes; several nieces, nephews, best friend, Peggy Keck, and many other friends.
The family will receive friends from 1-2pm Tuesday, August 30th at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 W. Adair Dr. Knoxville, TN 37918 with funeral service following at 2pm. Dr. James Robertson will officiate. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 3500 Tazewell Pk. Knoxville, TN 37918.
