Foust, Bertha M. age 97 of Knoxville, TN passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Creekview Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born on November 2, 1923, in Union County, TN, she was the youngest sibling of 11 children. Bertha was of the Baptist faith. She started work at Standard Knitting Mill at age 16 and retired after 45 years of service. Bertha's hobbies included gardening, taking care of her home and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by parents, Victor and Alice Foust; 5 sisters, Esta Helms, Orphia Foust, Eula Broshears, Cletis Daniels and Christine Slemp; 5 brothers, Encie, Eura, Leonard, Cas and Luppie Foust. Bertha is survived by special niece, Linda Caylor and nephew, John Reed; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday, September 16th from 5-7pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with a brief funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm. Burial will be Friday, September 17th meeting at the graveside at 10:45 am for an 11:00 am interment service at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
