Noe, Bernice Norris, age 89, of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012. Member of Seven Islands Baptist Church. She was retired from Cas Walker Food Stores. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Preceded in death by parents, Herman and Lena Steele; husbands, James Norris, Sr. and Everett Noe, Sr.; daughter, Betsy Houser; son, James Norris, Jr.
Survivors include daughter, Brenda Henson; sister, Mary Ann Parker; grandchildren, Jeff Ellis, Tony Hockensmith, Teresa Norris, Kelly Harrison, Alicia Carson, Eric Fielden, Shawn Wilson, Jennifer Cox; several great-grandchildren. Nephews, and nieces.
Family will receive friends at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel 5:30 - 7:00 pm Wednesday, with funeral service at 7 pm. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery, 10:45 am Thursday for 11 am interment.
Pallbearers are grandsons, Jeff Ellis, Tony Hockensmith, Eric Fielden, Shawn Wilson.
