Herbert went to his heavenly home on February 10, 2018. Herbert loved the Lord, his wife and his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Basil H. and Lucy Wright. He leaves his wife of 61 years, Mary, daughters Tracy and Mary and sons Basil III and Thomas and sister Dorcus Layman. He was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church on Ball Camp Pike for 55 years. Family will receive friends on Wednesday February 14 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a chapel service at 6:00 pm at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home on Kingston Pike. Graveside burial will be on Thursday February 15, 2018 at 11:00 am at Berry Highland Cemetery. Rev. Austin Moore will be officiating.
