Barbara Jean Smith

Barbara Jean Haynes Smith, age 88 of Knoxville, passed away May 4. 2021 in Fayetteville, GA surrounded by family. She was a lifelong member of Second United Methodist Church, an avid Tennessee sports fan, a big game show enthusiast, and loved car rides. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by her husband, J.W. (Buddy) Smith; parents, Leona and Howard Haynes. Survived by children, Steven Smith (Sherry), Cheryl Clower (Ron); grandchildren, Jason Smith (Annie), Kevin Smith ( Whitney), Justin Clower, Matthew Smith ( Stephanie), Kristen Graham ( Syd); great-grandchildren, Emily Smith, Gabriel Smith, Jacob Smith, McKenley Smith, Lucas Graham, Samantha Graham, Liam Graham; great-great-grandson, Silas Baker; brother-in-law, Carl Smith ( Ragena); special friend, Sandra Clower, many cousins, friends, and family members. Family will receive friends at Weaver’s Chapel Monday from 6:00-8:00 pm with service to follow.
