Audrey Christine Johnson

Audrey Christine Davis Johnson, age 85, of South Knoxville went to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of Monday, June 1, 2015. She was born and raised in Akron, Ohio and later moved to Knoxville after her marriage to Jim Johnson. In 1985, Audrey and Jim moved to Alpharetta, Ga for Jim’s work and then moved back to Knoxville in 2000. She was a member of Lake Forest Presbyterian Church. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Woodfin and Georgia Davis, brother, Wallace Davis; sisters, Thelma Harkleroad and Juanita Gordon. Survivors include loving husband of 64 years, Jim Johnson; daughter and son-in-law, Judi and Steve Burgin; Son, Mark Johnson and sons and daughters-in-law, Phil and Beverly Johnson and Andy and Kathy Johnson; 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 2 PM Thursday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home with a service to follow at 2 PM celebrating Audrey’s life. Rev. Don Wilson will be officiating. Following the service, family and friends will meet at Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 4 PM interment service.
