Arthur M. "Ott" Houser

Houser, Arthur M. (Ott) - age 95,a long time resident of the Solway Community until entering Ben Atchley Veterans Home a couple of months ago. Preceded in death by wife Effie Mae Leath, son-in-law; Roy Castleberry, Jr. and five brothers and sisters.Survived by children, Glenda Houser (Derry Jackson), Diane Castleberry, Debbie Runck (Chuck) and Steve Houser (Kathy).Grandchildren Scott Castleberry (Rebecca), Jill Hudgins (Larry) and Kaylyn Houser. He was a World War II Veteran and upon return from the war became employed at ORNL until retirement in 1979.He was a long time member of Solway United Methodist Church and attended every Sunday until he was no long able. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff at Ben Atchley Veterans Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Solway Memorial Cemetery c/o Scott Castleberry, 3511 Koon Lane, Knoxville, TN 37931. Visitation will be at Weaver Funeral Home on Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Sunday , 2:00 p.m. at Solway United Methodist Church with burial following in Solway Memorial Cemetery with Rev.
