Annie Mae Tankersley Clark, 93, born August 29, 1924 in Dryden, VA; went home to be with the Lord on November 4, 2017. Member of the Church at Sterchi Hills, Knoxville. Preceded in death by husband, Ulas F. Clark; parents: Elbert and Mary Tankersley; brothers: Ezra, Joshua, Henry, and Truy Tankersley; and sister, Clyde Amburgey. Survived by sister, Pauline Cassell, Fancy Gap, VA. Children: Elizabeth & David Palmer, Richard & Wilma Clark, Charles & Debra Clark, Powell, and Willard & Grace Clark, Kodak. Grandchildren: Robert & Patty Clark, Mascot, John & Brittany Palmer, Amy & Brian Cooty, Knoxville, Martin Clark, Scott & Erin Clark, Anna & Eddie Olinger, Powell, Lori Groves, Erie, PA. Eleven great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family would like to thank NHC Knoxville 2W staff and to Caris Hospice for their loving care. Family will receive friends Tuesday at Weaver Funeral Home, 5815 Western Ave., Knoxville, TN 37921 from 12:30-2:00 pm with service to follow at 2:00 pm. Rev. Randy Singleton officiating.
