Anna Maria Whaley

Anna Maria Whaley age 57 of Knoxville, passed away December 29, 2017. She was a member of LaFollette United Methodist Church. She worked as a medical transcriptionist for Children’s Hospital. Preceded in death by parents, William Jackson and Maxine Prater; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Alice Prater; sister, Alice Marie Prater. Survived by husband, Winfield Whaley; son, Andrew William Whaley; daughters, Morgan Brooke Whaley and Wendy Nicole Whaley; brothers, Ron (Shirley) Prater of Nashville, Denny (Linda) Prater of Charlotte and Gene (Donna) Prater of LaFollette; sisters, Sue (Jay) Barrett of KY and Nancy (David) Osborne of Eagan, TN; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 12:00pm Wednesday at Weaver’s Chapel. Family and friends will meet at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 1:00 pm interment.
