Anna Lee Collins, age 75 passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. She was a 1966 graduate of Young High School. Anna worked for 20 plus years with Knox County Schools as a bus driver and later retired from CAC. She attended RCI Church and later E Avenue House of Prayer. Anna had a heart for everyone and dedicated her life to raising her children and grandchildren.
Anna is preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Gosnell; parents: Elmer and Baunita Lee; brothers: Boyd, Butch and Ralph Lee; sisters, Emma Allen, Barbara Joiner, Gertie Breeden and grandson, Isaiah Fontana.
She is survived by her son, Darrell Collins; grandsons: Shane Fontana, Steven Collins; brothers: John (Cathe) Lee, Ray (Sue) Lee and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 31, 2023 between the hours of 5:00 PM until 7:00
PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family request that you make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
