Angela DeVore Smith, 48, of Lenoir City, TN, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville after a long illness. Angie, as she was affectionately known, was born November 24, 1971 in Memphis, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl David DeVore and Annie Mae DeVore. Angie, is survived by her long-time boyfriend, Rick Malone, three children, Preston Smith, Troy Smith, and Holly Taylor, two grandchildren, Jeremiah Smith and Josiah Smith, her aunt, Elizabeth “Liz” Parker, and her nephew, Michael Parker, and several close friends and family members, including Faye Jackson, Rick Malone, Jr., Bill Malone, and Tiffany Malone. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date due to the COVID-19 restrictions currently in place.
