Alexander Dean Teter, left us unexpectedly on Monday, March, 21, 2022. Although his time here on earth was short, he lived life to the fullest and significantly impacted those around him with his kind-heart and loving nature.
He is preceded in death by his Mimi and Papaw, James and June Krug. He leaves behind his brother and best friend, Nathan James Teter; mother, Andrea Krug Teter and step-dad Michael Smiddy; father, Brady Lee Teter; step-mom, Shannon Wilson; step-siblings, Austin, Brandon, Connor, and Isabella; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Betty Teter of Ringgold, Georgia; beloved wingman, Rico and extended family members across the country.
Alec was a graduate of Lenoir City High School, Class of 2019. He was a standout athlete with a strong passion for football and wrestling. He was a loyal friend and will be remembered by all those he touched. His spirit was enormous and he lived to make others laugh and smile – often saying “Good Noon” as his greeting.
Alec was a shining light and all those who knew him felt the magnitude of his vibrant, authentic personality. He lit up the room with his infectious smile and goofy faces. His friends and family will remember him as supportive, caring, genuine, inspiring, comical, uplifting and a strong believer in Christ.
Alec was an avid outdoorsman. Some of his favorite activities where snowboarding, wakeboarding, fly fishing and hunting. His obsession with duck hunting began at a young age in the flooded rice fields of Arkansas. He was so excited when he got his first camo duck boat to hunt geese on the Tennessee River. There wasn’t a day that went by that Alec wasn’t living his best life on lakes, rivers, mountains and sandy beaches. He cherished family vacations every year on Hilton Head Island and spending afternoons at the lake with his friends. He had many passions and most recently, found his love for bounty hunting.
His friends have countless stories about Alec’s fun-loving personality and antics. His exuberant personality brought a lifetime of smiles and joyful memories to everyone around him. Simply put, Alec made our world a better place and he will be missed fiercely.
The family respectfully requests no flowers. A scholarship fund will be established at Lenoir City High School in memory of Alec.
A Celebration of Life, to honor Alec, will be held at The Mill and Mine, located at 227 W. Depot Avenue Knoxville, Tennessee on Sunday, April 3rd beginning at 2:00 pm.
