She will be remembered and beloved by many as a bright, confident, unswerving, sharp, articulate, adventurous, funny, sweet and sassy, fiercely loving little girl. She loved her family, her church family at Hope Church Knoxville, her friends and teachers at First Baptist Academy, her nurses, doctors, and entire team at ETCH, and all of her many friends with passion. She adored school, her dog, Ginger, her American Girl dolls, ballet, butterflies, slime, Dollywood, hiking, fashion, arts and crafts, Christmas and holidays, and the colors purple and light blue. She mesmerized people with her charisma at such a young age, and she fought cancer with such admirable courage and determination.
Addie is survived by her adoring parents, Chris and Sarah Bennett, and her siblings, Caleb, Emma, and Declan, as well as her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private burial will be held at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery, Knoxville, TN, on June 27, 2020, followed by a private Memorial service at First Baptist Church in Powell. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family will live-stream the memorial service for those who cannot attend. The family wishes to express that donations may be made to East Tennessee Children's Hospital in Addie's name in lieu of flowers at the link below, if desired.
