Mr. William Bill Robert Kieffer

KIEFFER, William Robert "Bill" (1922 - 2011) Passed away peacefully, with his family at his side, at Guelph General Hospital, on Friday, March 4, 2011. He now joins his beloved wife Marion (Kerr), who predeceased him in 1985. Treasured father of Terry (Pat) Kieffer, Kimberly (David) Hergott and Paul (Vera) Keifer. Special grandfather of Rebecca and Daniel (Stephanie) Hergott, Kelly (Scott) Campbell, Sharie Keifer and Heidi (Geoff) Keifer-Lewis. Great-grandfather of seven and special uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Bill is survived by his sister Mary Drexler and sister-in-law Catherine Kieffer. Predeceased by his parents Louis and Appolonia (Bitschy) Kieffer, brother Vincent and grandson Todd Keifer. Grampa always loved his cuddles with his dog buddy Merlin. Merlin was glad to have a final cuddle with his Gramps and will miss him. Friends will be received to celebrate the life of Bill Kieffer at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home , 621 King Street West on Tuesday March 8, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Reception to follow at the Ratz-Bechtel Family Center, interment will be at Woodland Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the charity of choice greatly appreciated.
