My best memories of Walter usually involved music, playing hymns and carols whether on the piano or accordian. He had a generous heart and was always ready to share a verse or be an encouragement. He helped us many times, whether by offering baby sitting and also when we bought our first home in Kitchener.  
He will always be remembered for the how he did his best to love his family and also strangers, and to be a blessing wherever he went.

Our most heartfelt condolences for the passing of a man of God. Walter always saw the good in everything and did what he could to help others. We loved it when your dad would come over and show our kids a whole variety of new dives off the diving board into the pool. He was always welcomed whole heartedly by the whole family.

And as a worship leader, I experienced many times when he would come to me after a service or special event and encourage me in my leadership and love for Jesus.

Onkle Walters convictions were so strong and his desire to make everyone happy is what we remember most. He will be truly missed and we will include him and your families in our prayers.

My thoughts & prayers go out to you as a family at this time.  I know that Walter is glad to be finished with his journey here on earth & is now with the Lord whom he loved.  We miss his sharing at First Baptist Church & when I visited him at Victoria Place I found him to be content in God's hands even though he was going through much suffering. Personally I hold a special place for Walter in my thoughts, and our family really appreciated his kindness shown to my father when he visited Canada (from India) several years ago.
