Tom Schreiter

Passed away peacefully on June 21, 2012 at the age of 83 years.

Predeceased by his beloved mother Adele. Loving father of Lisa Schumacher and her husband Tim, and Patti-Anne Duke. Dear grandfather of Matthew, Michael and Megan Schumacher, and Jessica and Chase Duke. Will be sadly missed by many family and friends.

Tom worked at Mutual Life for 40 years. Tom was a Past Master of Temple Lodge No. 690, a member of Centennial Lodge No. 684, a member of the Scottish Rite, belonging to Royal City Lodge of Perfection, Guelph Rose Croix Lodge of Perfection and Moore Sovereign Consistory. He was also a proud member of the Mocha Shrine, a longtime member of the Waterloo County Shrine Club and a member of the Mocha Shrine Ritualistic Cast. He was also a longtime member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.

At Tom’s request, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Visitation will be held at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton Street, on Monday, June 25, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. under the auspices of Temple Lodge No. 690.
