With great sorrow the family announces the passing of Stephen Rooney at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Friday, March 21, 2014 in his 60th year. Dear husband and soul mate of Lynn (nee Wallis), and cherished father of Matthew, Daniel and Sarah, all of Kitchener. Much loved brother of Christine Harwood (Bill) of GA., Stephen will be missed by his extended Harwood family, all of whom he loved very much. Stephen was very active with his children in the junior hockey, soccer and baseball leagues and will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.
Friends and family will be received at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S., (at Westmount), 519-743-8900, on Sunday March the 30th, 2014 from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by a service to celebrate Stephen’s life in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. A time for fellowship and refreshment will follow.
