One time when my dad was unwell, Susy Aunty dropped off all of this delicious chicken curry.  At the time, I had just started eating meat again, so I very happily lapped it up.

It also, always warmed my heart that she would call me Mercy Baby even as an adult.  



Dear Sunil and Anil:
It is with profound sorrow we heard the passing of your mom, Susy. We met Susy and Varughese in 1977 when we moved to Waterloo.  We remember the get togethers, the good company,  the cracking of jokes, playing cards, and all the good times. 
We hope that the love of family and friends offer some comfort in easing the pain.  We keep you in our thoughts and prayers. 
May her soul rest in peace.

Sunil - Catherine and I were very sorry to hear of your Mum's passing.  I hope you'll take comfort in knowing Susy is at peace now. It is with the deepest sadness that we learnt about Susi’s passing. We will remember the many happy times we spent playing cards or simply chatting and laughing at dinners together. Her laughter was heartfelt and her gestures genuine. We send our thoughts and prayers to her sons Anil and Sunil. 

We initially met Varghese and Susy in 1976. When they later moved to Kitchener we became close friends. Our children grew up together and our friendship grew to the point where we felt more like family rather than just friends.  We would often get together to  play cards. Although our weekly card games included lots of arguments about certain plays, we always ended the game with smile and the date for our next game. We will always remember the many times we came over for dinner, enjoying your delicious food, hospitality and your beautiful smile. We have so much history and beautiful memories which we will keep close to our hearts.  Thank you for making the pesaha appam on Monty Thursday every year.  That meant alot to us. It is extremely hard to say goodbye to you but God has called you home and we know you are now with Varghese.  May your soul rest in peace. It's hard to share just one thing, because our entire childhood is filled with memories of Susy Aunty.  From weekly get togethers, dinners, card games to dancing all night long.  Susy Aunty, Priya and I will always remember how you called us  "Molu" so affectionately and we loved it;  we can still hear your voice now.  We will miss your beautiful smile, your amazing sense of humor, your delicious meals but most of all, your love and presence. Thank you for loving us the way you did, we will always cherish our memories of you. God rest your sweet soul Susy Aunty. Love you always Preeti and Priya

Sorry to hear about Susy Aunty’s passing. I remember our dinner parties when we were kids watching the Leafs in the basement. And I remember listening to her sing along with Sting wile watching him perform Every Breath You Take. She had a lovely voice! Thanks for the happy memories Susy Aunty!
