Shirley Joan Reid

Dearest mother of Deborah Reid, Pamela Frazer (Shaun) and Daniel Reid (Sandee). Much loved grandmother to Sarah (Johnny), Jane (Nikolay), Simon (Madisen), Morgan (Aria), John, Michael. Great grandmother to Caius, Frances, Isla, Elowen, Kira, Nora, Myla, Leeland.

Joan loved Euchre. She played five days a week with her friends for many years in Hamilton. She was an avid knitter and enjoyed making hundreds of embroidered blankets for her grandchildren and many others around the world.

The family thanks her home caregivers for their kindness over this past year. As well as, the compassionate staff at both St. Mary’s and Grand River Freeport Hospital during Joan’s final days. Many thanks to the Foxboro Green residents for their endless support and community.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
