After a short and courageous fight with cancer, beloved husband and best friend of Andrea (Jesson). Loving father of Nicholas (32 months) and Lily (2 weeks). Much loved son of Michael & step-son of Brenda. Dear son-in-law of Paul and Elizabeth Jesson. Dear grandson of Agnes Crane. Dear nephew of Rick Crane(Janice) and Paul Crane(Joanne). Loved cousin of Scott , Jamie (Elizabeth) and Courtney & Tyler Crane. Dear brother-in-law of Lisa Hall and uncle of Evan and Keegan. Predeceased by his sister Brooke (1981) and his grandfather Lewis (2006). Family & friends will be received at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. Kitchener on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Shawn’s memory may be made to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre. Special thanks to Dr. Elaine Bouttell and the many doctors, nurses and support staff at the Grand River Oncology Ward, Intensive Care Unit, and the Childbirth Ward.
