My dearest Roy, my husband, my teddy bear, my lover, my best friend and so on. I miss you so much. I am totally lost without you here. I miss your jovial laughter, your stories, your cute and loving names you had for me everyday. After a tough day at work you were so understanding with me if I was tired. You were my knight in shining armor and now I will never hear you laughter, your stories and loving names until we meet again in heaven. I love you and miss you. I am sure you are walking around, maybe even running and telling your stories to God, the angels and anyone else who will listen to them. I am sure they will sit and listen like I did because you are so good at telling your stories. You were so expressive, happy and inspiring when you told them.

I am so very sorry that we were not able to make it down for the funeral as I had hoped we would. Please extend our deepest condolences to all of Roy's family. Roy, you had the kind of laugh that made everyone laugh with you; the kind of personality that allowed us to remain good friends even after our divorce; the big heart that made everyone who knew you, a better person. Every time I look at our daughter, I see your big blue eyes. We will miss you.  Margaret, I am so glad you were there for him, and you have our deepest condolences.

I will miss you Uncle Roy. I will always remember you making me watch "Monty Python - In search of the Holy Grail" when I was really young. I didn't get the humor at all then, but I think of you every time I watch it now, and it always makes me smile.  Your hearty laugh will always be fresh in my mind, and so will your sense of humour! Thanks for making me smile. You will be missed dearly, but I find peace in knowing that your suffering is over. I will always love you.
