Rosalie Appelt

On Friday July 26, 2013 Rosalie left this world in her 81st. year as loved ones held vigil beside her. She will be missed by her loving husband Edmund; sisters Olga Polziehn, Holdine Stania, Monika Thill and many loving nieces, nephews, friends and relatives in Canada, U.S.A. and Germany.

Rosalie was an avid gardener, world traveller and loved nature and all God’s wonderful creations. She was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church, sharing her voice and hands at church celebrations.

She is predeceased by her son Siegfried; parents Wanda and Wilhelm Gust; sisters Irma Boehnke, Herta Winter and a brother Helmut Gust.

Family and friends are invited to share memories of Rosalie during visitation at Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton at Church St. Kitchener on Tuesday from 2-4, 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 11:00am at Bethel Lutheran Church, 47 Sheldon Ave. N., Kitchener with Pastor Richard Orlowski officiating.

Following the cremation, the family will hold an interment ceremony at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery on Friday, August 2, at 10:00am.
