With great sadness the family announces his passing at the Village of Winston Park on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in his 78th year. Dearly loved husband of Patricia (nee Vanier), and father to Christine Knobel (Tony), Caroline Pajot (Rick), Richard Hamilton, Stephen Hamilton (Karen) and Gregory Hamilton (Dorothy). Rodney leaves precious memories with his ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and will be sadly missed by his brother Jack Hamilton (Dorothy). Rodney was a fun loving man and will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
Friends will be received at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S., 519-743-8900, on Monday, February 17th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will be at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 305 Laurentian Dr., at 11:00 a.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks are extended to the Eby Unit at the Village of Winston Park for their love and support, and for the diligent care that Rodney received during his stay.
