Passed away peacefully at Winston Park in Kitchener with his beloved June (Godkin) by his side on March 16, 2015 in his 89th year. Predeceased by his parents William James and Charlotte Evelyn and sisters Betty (Joe) Richardson and Norlaine (John) Fox and brother-in-law Jack (Mary) Godkin. Loving and steadfastly proud father of Peter (Kathleen), Anne (Peter) and John (Pat). Supportive advisor to grandchildren O.J., Swiska, Colin, Katie, Max, Emily and Carly. Loving great grandfather to 9. Bob’s dry wit and sense of fun will be greatly missed at future gatherings by all generations of the Burnett Family. Cremation has taken place according to Bob’s wishes. A memorial service and interment will take place at Cataraqui Cemetery in Kingston later this spring.
