Richard Rick Louis Riopel

Peacefully at Grand River Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday April 24th, 2013 in his 70th year. Rick will be dearly remembered by his loving wife Rose Marie and by his children Vicky Woodall (Robert), Tracy Stephenson and Rick Riopel Jr. (Stacey). He leaves precious memories with his grandchildren; Jayden, Mackenzie, Tammy, Nicholas, Chloe, Josh, Liam and Jordan. Predeceased by his parents Jeanne d’Arc Gervias and Philippe Riopel, Rick will be sadly missed by his siblings Gilberte Vincent (Marcel), Robert Riopel (Yolande), Georgette Lafreniere (Conrad), Madeline Chretien (Leon) and Claude Riopel. The Riopel Family will receive friends at the Westmount Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Parish Prayers will be at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at St. Joseph’s Church, 148 Madison Ave. S. (at Courtland) on Saturday May 4th at 11:00 a.m., cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
