Mary Jean Ritchie

With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Mary Jean Ritchie at the Grand River Hospital on Tuesday, October 12, 2015 in her 90th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Max on June 13, 2004, Mary is survived by her children; Mike (Marny) Ritchie, Tim Ritchie and Beth (Helmut) Meuser. She leaves cherished memories with her grandchildren Michael (Mary Ann) Ritchie, Jason (Heather) Glogowski, Elliot Ritchie, Craig Meuser and Jason Meuser, and with her great grandchildren Mat Ritchie, Noah Ritchie, Zoe Glogowski and Zadie Glogowski. Mary’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre for their love and compassion. The Ritchie Family will receive friends at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. (at Westmount Rd., 519-743-8900) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Parish Prayers will be at 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be from Blessed Sacrament Parish, 305 Laurentian Dr. on Friday at 10:30 a.m. with Father Larry Parent officiating. Interment will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Chatham. As Expressions of sympathy donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated.
