Mary Brenner

The former Mary Reinhardt, in her 89th year.

Mary was a member of St. Anthony Daniel Church and had been employed at the Blue Moon Hotel until her retirement, she had worked at Cluetts and Peabody during the war. Mary had the most wonderful sense of humour and had a great love for her big family and in better times, Mary enjoyed a cold glass of beer and loved her precious blue Hydrangeas.

Loving mother to Ginny and her husband Gil Eichler, Chris and her husband Dave Kinzie, Paul and his wife Denise, Wayne, Deb and her husband Mark Hinsperger, Susan and her husband Gerry Tiessen, Laurie and her husband Randy Dorscht and Jeff and his wife Kim, sadly missed grandma to 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her parents Maurice Reinhardt and Eva Strub, her husband Oliver in 1988, one brother Mark and four sisters, Rita, Delores (Tootsie), Eva and Gloria.

Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9, where parish prayers will be said at 8:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be said on Saturday from St. Anthony Daniel Church at 1:00 pm with Father Earl Talbot officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery and a reception will be held from the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. Donations may be made to the Cardiac Care Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital or the Lung Association as expressions of sympathy through the Funeral home.
