Slater, Martha –The world has lost Martha Slater, a simple, scrabble-loving, adventurous octogenarian. We will miss her more than we knew. These things have a way of sometimes coming out of the blue; in her case an aneurysm the purveyor of death. Out painting the town red on Saturday night after her weekly mass; gone by Monday at one in the afternoon, anointed with oil in the rites of the Catholic Church she loved. Way to go, Mom. Loving mother of Alan, Bill, Mary Timmer (Frank), Teresa and the late Pat. Beloved grandma of Maria Wong (Bill), Anya Slater, Carl, Paul and Natalie Timmer and the late John Slater. Dear sister of Julia Nakluski, Walter Warzecha, Joseph Warzecha and predeceased by siblings Minnie Dedyna, Louis Warzecha, Eddie Warzecha, Mary Rafferty, Rose West, Annie Storozuk and Peter Warzecha.
