Passed away at Grand River Hospital on July 6, 2011 at 75 years of age. Predeceased by her husband Carlos (2004). Loving mother of Carlos & his wife Darlene of Kitchener and Jack of Kitchener. Dear grandmother of Jessie and Samantha Simoes. Visitation will be held at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton St. on Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Rosary will be offered at 7 p.m. A funeral mass and interment will be held in Portugal. Maria was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Portuguese R.C. Church. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
