Rie (née: Van Oeveren) passed away after a brief battle with cancer.
She said she wanted to live to 100, but that was not in the cards. Whenever we asked how she was doing she kept saying “I’M FINE”. She will forever remain the heart of her husband, Russ (Russell) Mahoney, of 41 years. Predeceased by her mother, Agatha Emans, daughter, Yvonne Schots and son, Ron Schots.
Loving mother of Willy Wittman, Diane Schots and also Raywyn. Survived by her sister Alie van Oeveren and brother John Hollebrandse. Cherished Grandma/Oma and Great Grandma.
