Lloyd George Hummel

With heavy hearts the family of Lloyd Hummel announces his passing at Freeport Health Centre on Monday February 13th, 2017 at the age of 81. He will be terribly missed by his wife of 58 years Marge, and by his son’s Michael, Gregory (Ann) and Christopher (Tracy). Loving Pop to Sarah Kelly (Dan) Julia Hummel (Nik), Samantha Hummel (Sam), Matthew Hummel (Lauren), Scott Hummel, Jacob Hummel, Lauren Hummel and Natalie Hummel. Loving brother to Ron Hummel (Cecille), Carol Garner (the late Fred), Tom Hummel (Pat) and the late Diane O’Reilly (John O’Reilly). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Cara and Brooke, Dr. Lisa Dinicolo and the 4th floor staff at Freeport for their love and support. Lloyd’s family will receive friends at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 49 Blueridge Ave., on Friday at 11:00 a.m., cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Francis of Assisi maintenance fund or the Alzheimer’s Society are greatly appreciated.
