Linda Dawn Soplet

Linda Dawn Soplet (née Moncrieff), beloved wife of Rick Soplet, sister to Cathy Moncrieff, and mother to Jonathan (Catherine), Michael (Cindy) and Daniel (Lana), passed away peacefully on February 23rd, 2025 at home, surrounded by her loving husband and 3 sons.

More than anything else, she adored her family, including her 7 young grandchildren - Madison, Noah, Isabella, Morgan, Kaylee, Finley, and Merrick.

Her love of sculpting and art was undeniable to anyone visiting her home, which was filled with both. More than anything, she loved to make others laugh. Along with her art, she will be warmly remembered for her quips and practical jokes that always made everyone around her smile.

She was born February 4th, 1955 to Susan and Allison Moncrieff. Interment will be at the Thornton Cemetery in Oshawa, Ontario on Saturday, March 15th at 1pm.
