John Pais Ferreira

Passed away peacefully following a brief illness with family by his side at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Friday March 23, 2012, age 83 years.

Born in Portugal, Mr. Ferreira was a member of St. Aloysius R.C. Church, Kitchener.

Loving husband of Zelia. Beloved father-in-law of Marilyn Ferreira of Fergus and dear VO VO of Michael (Cindy), Matthew, Cassandra, Christopher and Nicholas.

Survived by a brother Fernando Ferreira of Virginia U.S.A.

Predeceased by his sons, Daniel (2005) and Fernando Ferreira (2006).

Mr. Ferreira’s family will receive friends and relatives at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton at Church St. Kitchener (today) Monday from 2-4, 7-9 pm. (Prayers 8:45 pm.) followed by Mass of Christian Burial from St. Aloysius R.C. Church, 11 Traynor Avenue Kitchener on Tuesday March 27th, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Wojciech Kuzma as celebrant.

Interment: Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
